Beavis and Butt-head in Wiener Takes All

continued

Don't Let Me Down
The questions are not easy. If you don't know the exact month and year a certain Baywatch actress appeared in Playboy or the answer to "what is the apartment number of the guy that killed his brother," you're in for a long, painful night.

screen shot Even though the questions are inane, they aren't the worst part of the game. Brace yourself for a stiff announcer (huh huh, he said "stiff"), a repetitive introduction that you can't skip, unresponsive keyboard tracking, unproofed questions, seven-letter limits on names (you can't even type "Butt-head" as a contestant), and elevator music from hell. There are about 800 questions in all, but you'll start getting repeats after only a few games.

The only reason to buy Wiener Takes All is to compliment your otherwise complete collection of Beavis and Butt-head paraphernalia. To quote Butt-head from his own game, "In my expert opinion, it sucks." If you're over 17 and looking for trivia, do yourself a favor and get You Don't Know Jack. If you're under 17, remember, Beavis and Butt-head aren't role models (I'm required by law to say that or kids might experiment with hosting game shows).

Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da
Beavis and Butt-head fans, don't lose faith. All great artists lay at least one egg (or egg-man) during their careers. Wiener Takes All is Beavis and Butt-head's Magical Mystery Tour, and I'll be sure to raise the correlation again when The Beavis and Butt-head Anthology comes out in 30 years.

quick tip
-Buy another game.

Hugh Falk has no clue about the gaming industry in general and wouldn't know a good game if it was crammed down his throat. This biography is dedicated to those hardworking programmers and quality assurance engineers who have taken the time to critique his crappy reviews of their perfect games.
